Privacy policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
This site, prernasinghmusic.com, is the website of Prerna Singh, a DJ and producer based in London, UK. This page explains what data the site handles and why.
What we collect
- Enquiry form. If you send an enquiry, we receive the name, email address, event details and message you enter. We use them only to reply to you.
- Mailing list. If you join the list, we store your email address (with Netlify) and use it only to tell you about new music, gigs and show episodes. Reply or email us to be removed at any time.
- Email. If you email bookings@, press@ or hello@prernasinghmusic.com, your message is forwarded by ImprovMX to a Gmail inbox.
Analytics and cookies
If you click Accept on the cookie banner, the site uses Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages and links people use, and where visitors come from (for example a country, or a link on Instagram). Google Analytics sets these cookies:
- _ga and _ga_70L3YZWC18: tell visits apart, kept for up to 2 years.
If you click Decline, Google Analytics does not load and no cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. You can change it any time with Cookie settings in the site footer.
What we don't do
No advertising, no ad personalisation, and we never sell or share your details.
Services the site uses
- Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions.
- Google Analytics measures visits, only after you accept cookies.
- SoundCloud, Mixcloud and YouTube players load only when you press Play on a mix. They then apply their own privacy policies (YouTube uses its privacy-enhanced mode).
- Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs serve fonts and scripts, so your browser sends them your IP address when loading the page.
- ImprovMX and Google (Gmail) handle email.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and then deleted, usually within 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Email hello@prernasinghmusic.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
